Brunnera 'Alexander's Great' PBR (Siberian Bugloss) Deer/rabbit resistant
Brunnera 'Alexander's Great' is a deciduous, clump & mound-forming herbaceous perennial producing attractive, huge, heart-shaped silver leaves that are veined & edged with green. Airy sprays of blue forget-me-not flowers in spring. Approx. 50 cm x 1 m. Any reasonable moist but well-drained soil in full/part-shade. Best in a sheltered position. Hardy. Remove dead foliage to keep plant looking good. Makes good ground cover.
Looks good when planted with Hellebores & spring bulbs(narcissus & tulips) & can be under planted under shrubs & roses.
