Achillea 'Summerwine' AGM is a semi-evergreen clump forming herbaceous perennial. Flat heads of rich dark wine-red that hold their colour well in late summer/early autumn over a long period. Green feathery foliage. Approx. 70 cm tall. Any reasonable soil in sun. A beautiful addition to a hot border or any garden border.
Looks good planted with other Achilleas, grasses (Stipas) in a prairie style of planting or with Monarda or Heleniums.
