Athyrium filix-femina 'Frizelliae' AGM
A beautiful variety with fronds between 10 and 20 cm long and attractive curled pinnae each side of the midrib resembling 'tatting(handmade lace)' hence its common name. One of Cath's favourites. It is ideal grown in the ground but also makes a superb container specimen. Moist, fertile humus-rich soil in shade. Best in neutral to acid soil not too keen on lime. 2 litre pot.
