Astilbe 'Red Sentinel' (japonica hybrid)
Astilbe 'Red Sentinel' produces intense red plume-like flowers on mahogany stems, early and mid-summer, over green feathery foliage. Approx. 60cm tall (2'). Best in moist soil in part-shade or sun if soil is always moist or boggy as otherwise edges of leaves tend to brown.
