Astrantia 'Buckland' Bee friendly
Astrantia 'Buckland' is a deciduous, clump forming herbaceous perennial with attractive silvery edged dusky-pink pincushion-like flowers all summer making a superb border plant. Approx. 60-90 cm x 45 cm spread. Any fertile, reasonable soil that is not too dry in some sun but excellent in shade. Easily grown and ideal in any border or to naturalise or create a cottage garden look. Loved by bees.
Looks good planted with hardy Geraniums, Acteas and Anemone japonica varieties.
