Astrantia 'Gill Richardson' is a recently introduced selection with extremely deep crimson pincushion-like flowers in midsummer over green foliage. Approx. 75cm tall. Clump forming. Deciduous. Sun or part-shade in reasonable fertile, moisture retentive soil. A lovely addition to a hot border or any mixed planting.
