Kniphofia rooperi
Kniphofia rooperi is an extremely tall, clump forming herbaceous perennial ideal at the back of a border or to make a statement. Big, round poker-like orange and yellow flowers on sturdy stems that don't need staking appear late in the season-September to October which appear to glow in sun and really stand out from a distance. Green foliage. Approx. 130cm tall. Deep, fertile, humus-rich soil reasonable soil in sun or part-shade.
