Caryopteris clandonensis 'Dark Knight' is a rounded, deciduous shrub growing to approx. 1.5 m tall x 1.5 m spread. Ovate, green aromatic leaves which are silvery below. Prolific deep purple-blue flowers in late summer/early autumn. Any reasonable moist but well-drained soil in sun. Hardy but needs shelter from cold winds. Loved by bees. Ideal in the border or pot.
