Drimys lanceolata 'Red Spice' is an unusual, upright, compact, easily grown, evergreen shrub with dark green leaves & deep dark red stems. Clusters of cream flowers with yellow stamens in spring followed by black berries. Fragrant flowers. Grows to 1.5 m x 2.5 m. Hardy. Prefers an acid soil in sun.
