Magnolia 'Livingstone' has an upright habit when young more rounded with age. Vivid dark reddish-purple flowers in April/May. Can reach 7 m x 5 m in 10-20 years. Best in a sheltered position in sun/part-shade in well-drained neutral to acid soil.
