Magnolis salicifolia var. 'Concolor' is a bushy. deciduous shrub or small tree approx. 5 m tall when mature. Willow-shaped leaves emerge tinted bronze when opening in spring. Tulip-shaped pure white flowers with pink stamens are fragrant & up to 10 cm across in early spring. Grows to approx. 5 m x 4 m spread when mature. Any reasonable moist but well-drained soil in sun/part-shade. Hardy but needs shelter from cold winds.
