Actaea simplex 'Carbonella' produces white flowers from pink tinged buds. Flowers have a sweet fragrance. Approx. 1m tall. Deciduous, hardy herbaceous perennial preferring reasonably moisture retentive soil in sun or part-shade. Actaeas flower in late summer into early autumn and are a super plant for later interest in your border. Attractive to insects.
