Geranium sanguineum 'Striatum'' AGM
Geranium sanguineum var. striatum or 'Lancastriense' is a fantastic plant. Discovered on Walney Island it is a great plant for any garden but will tolerant salt winds. Large shell-pink flowers are produced in early summer but then keep on coming right into late summer. Attractive green low-growing foliage. Approx. 20cm tall. Not invasive but makes a lovely carpet. Sun or part-shade in any reasonable soil not too wet. Lovely in gravel over walls or the border. Has been growing in our front garden for over 20 years - can stand lots of neglect! In a 2 litre pot.
