Magnolia 'Sentinel' is an upright, deciduous, columnar tree with large, long lasting pink flowers in spring but can flower again in summer. A good specimen tree up to 10 m tall in 10 years. Hardy & can withstand minus temperatures. Well-drained neutral to acid soil in sun. Needs shelter. Can grow in woodlands & is ideal for Japanese gardens.
