Magnolia 'Venus'
Magnolia 'Venus' has large fragrant, paeony-shaped flowers initially & opening to lotus-like flowers at maturity. Flowers are deep purple-pink on the outside near white within in spring. Often re-blooms in summer. Large velvety leaves flushed bronze in spring. Grows to approx. 5 m x 3 m when mature. Best in a sheltered position. Neutral to acid soil with reasonable drainage in sun/part-shade.
