Viburnum plicatum 'Molly Schroeder'
Viburnum plicatum 'Molly Schroeder' is a bushy horizontally-tiered shrub. It can be deciduous or evergreen depending on the weather. It produces tiered flat lace-cap flowers. The outer ring of sterile flowers are pink & white with a darker cream throat. The fertile inner flowers change from green buds to pink then white flowers as they open in Spring. The flowers are followed by red, blue or black berries. Grows to approx. 1.5 m x 2 m in 5-10 years. Sun or part-shade in any reasonably fertile, humus-rich soil. Low maintenance.
Lovely in your mixed or shrub border.
